The girl group BLACKPINK was formed by YG Entertainment and debuted on August 8, 2016. During their debut, BLACKPINK released a single on the album 'Square One' known as 'BOOMBAYAH' and 'Whistle'.

1. Jisoo

While Jisoo is the oldest of the BLACKPINK girls, she is the maknae or youngest child of her family. She has some interesting personality dynamics and usually sets the mood for the group.
She has what is known as a 4D personality, which is Korean slang for being quirky and thinking beyond reason. This is most often seen when she balances everything from banana milk, to water bottles, on her body. In fact, it has become a kind of game among BLINKs to catch Jisoo in action backstage.
Unlike other BLACKPINK girls, Jisoo can't speak English fluently, although according to Jennie she can understand it very well. However, Jisoo's language talent extends to being proficient in Korean, Chinese, and Japanese. She can also play guitar and drums, and has shown his instrumental talent on several occasions.

BLACKPINK's Jennie trained the longest before her debut with a total of five years and 11 months. As such, she was the most prolific of the four girls before they got together as a group. She appeared in G-Dragon's MV for "That XX," as well as collaborated with him on "Black."
Jennie's collaboration didn't end there, as she also worked with Lee Hi on "Special", and Seungri on "GG Be". So, it's no surprise that during her training years, Jennie was referred to as the "YG Princess" because she excelled in her rap and vocal skills, as well as her image.
Jennie's talent also extends to her language skills. While she was studying abroad in New Zealand, she was fluent in English, but also Korean and Japanese which certainly helped his widespread appeal across his international fan base.

Rose is the shyest of all the BLACKPINK members, and is often confused on the set of some videos, which makes her even more lovable. BLACKPINK's real maknae is Lisa. She is the youngest member of the group, and the only person to pass the Thai trial in 2010 for YG Entertainment. But, again, with the skills she has in BLACKPINK, we shouldn't be surprised that Lisa is so impressive. Lisa is also childhood friend of GOT7's Bambam, and they are both part of the We Zaa Cool dance crew. Well, this is what makes Lisa's dance moves so cool.
Interestingly, Lisa actually changed her given name from Pranpriya to Lalisa, after visiting a fortune teller. Lalisa means “one who is praised,” and surely you feel it. True to her maknae name, Lisa is very mischievous and likes to play around off stage.
Lisa can also speak Korean, Japanese, English, and Thai. The language skills for all BLACKPINK members are impressive. Lisa also appeared in BIG BANG Taeyang's "Ringa Linga" MV and was absolutely amazing.
